The Wim Hof breathing technique can be intense, but it shouldn’t be uncomfortable. Most practitioners report pleasurable or euphoric sensations during the height of intensity. It's important to remember you’re always in control, and your instructor will give you tools to adjust the level of intensity to what will serve you best during a session.

Recovery via guided exercises to warm the body back up gradually is incorporated after cold exposure, full-body immersion in cold water is not rushed into, and there is proper supervision.
